The Regional Alliance of Justice Associations (RAJA) brings regional organisations together to support collaboration, policy alignment and system reform that improves access to justice and social equity for rural, regional and remote communities.
Regional Justice & Place-Based Ownership
Justice systems in regional Western Australia operate within very different conditions to metropolitan areas. Distance, workforce availability, housing supply and service coordination all influence how people experience access to justice, including housing stability, family and community safety, financial rights and access to legal and social supports. Recognising these regional realities, and supporting place-based ownership of solutions, is essential to designing policies and systems that work effectively for rural, regional and remote communities.
